Western Bluebirds (photo taken on 11/12/08) love to feed in the vineyard, poking about for insects. They are year-round residents here since installation of the native gardens and nestboxes. One pair was even seen on 2/8/08 climbing into a Chickadee nestbox under oaks. I wonder if they'll nest there!
